Example: "Dr. Stacy Krueger-Hadfield is an evolutionary ecologist and assistant professor of biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She works on life cycle and reproductive system evolution in algae and invertebrates."
Blog Post Preparation Instructions
- Submit text as Word or PDF document
- Use color highlighting for citations, social media handles, and hyperlinks
- Prepare photos/figures as separate JPEGs (under 10MB each) with captions and copyright information
- Label files clearly (e.g., 'Lastname_Firstname_text')
- Notify Miranda Wade at mirandajwade@gmail.com after uploading via the Blog post checklist form
- Accept all track changes from Miranda before final submission
Content Organization
Posts should include:
- Blog Post Title (with category if applicable, e.g., "Behind the Science")
- Blog text (figures uploaded separately, not embedded)
- References (alphabetical order with complete URLs, not DOIs alone)
- Figure legends with proper naming conventions
- Hyperlinks section (full URLs for all references and external links)
