AGA 2026 will take place at Granlibakken Resort in Tahoe City, California on October 5–6, 2026. All talks, poster sessions, meals, and receptions take place on the property, and lodging is included in the conference package.
Registration
Registration is open until Tuesday 1 September. The registration fee is payable when you register with Granlibakken.
All AGA 2026 registrants must be AGA members. Annual membership costs $20 for students, trainees, and retirees and $45 for individuals; if you are not already a member you can join here.
Talks and Posters
If you would like to present a poster or give a talk, submit your abstract here.
Posters should be no larger than 36 × 48 inches or A0 paper size, ideally in portrait layout (long side vertical). Poster boards and pins are provided, though it never hurts to bring a few pins. You will be able to hang your poster on the first day. Please be prepared to stand by your poster during the sessions from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday 5 October and Tuesday 6 October.

Lodging and Conference Package
The conference package covers three nights of lodging (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 4–6 October) plus the reception and dinner on 5 October, all meals on 5 and 6 October, breakfast and lunch on 7 October, one complimentary beer, wine, or soda each evening, resort-wide high-speed WiFi, use of the pool, hot tub, and tennis courts, and free parking. Additional beverages may be purchased.
Package costs are all-inclusive — no extra taxes or other fees — and full payment is taken at the time of registration. Registration fees are charged in addition to the lodging rates below.

A spouse or guest staying in the same room as an attendee paying the single-occupancy rate is charged $165.28 per night for all food and beverage, inclusive of fees and current taxes, billed to the attendee’s individual account. No registration fee applies.
Attendees who cannot be accommodated in lodging at Granlibakken Tahoe pay a conference-only fee of $234.15 per night, inclusive of fees and current taxes, plus registration. Conference-only attendees are required to pay this fee and may not opt out of the contracted food and beverage options.
Travel and Directions
Granlibakken Tahoe is at 725 Granlibakken Road, Tahoe City, CA 96145.
The nearest airport is Reno/Tahoe International (RNO), about 54 miles away; Sacramento is roughly 100 miles by road via I-80 East and CA-89 South.
Airport shuttle transportation between RNO and Granlibakken can be arranged with North Lake Tahoe Express. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance — book online or call 833-709-8080.
Locally, Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) provides free bus service throughout North Lake Tahoe and Truckee; schedules change seasonally. TART Connect offers free seasonal on-demand rides within the greater Tahoe City area (Tahoma to Dollar Point) via the TART Connect app or by calling 530-214-5811.
